National Groups Fight for ANWR!
A host of major national organizations have written to Congress to encourage them to support opening the 10-02 Area of ANWR for oil and gas exploration. All submitted letters to Congress today encouraging the passage HR 5429 the American-Made Energy and Good Jobs Act, a ANWR standalone bill. The measure was passed by the House today in a vote of 225-201 with 7 representatives not voting. The organizations above collectively represent tens of millions of US citizens, their businesses and livelihoods based in every state of the nation.
Their official support goes far to show how widespread and large the support for ANWR is amongst everyday Americans. The ANWR bill will now be passed to the Senate for approval. If you a member of any of the above organizations and / or want to do your part to support ANWR, send a letter of support, and a letter of disapproval to those representatives who voted for ANWR, or against it by visiting the ANWR –ACTION website
