The Small Business and Entrepreneurship Council Support ANWR
The Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council (SBEC) today drafted a letter to Congress stating support for the passage of the Budget Reconciliation Bill with ANWR provision intact. SBEC President Karen Kerrigan directly addressed the need for Congress to responsibly tackle the nations energy needs and how important it is to small businesses nationwide to have a sound budget and a sound national energy policy. Having ANWR in the Budget will be a clear action that Congress is doing so. The SBEC last week communicated with every member of the House the value it places on this bill and has tagged the vote as a “Key Vote” the SBE Council members will use to judge performance of members.
